Dear Distributor:
We recently notified you of some changes to our Essential Rewards
policies. These changes were based on our desire to provide you with the
best autoship experience possible and to align our processes to
industry best practices. However, due to the feedback we have received,
we will not be changing the timing of the deadline to
make changes to your Essential Rewards order. Instead, we want to
clarify a few points and explain our shipping process in order to set
proper expectations on when you can expect to receive your order.
First, we want to clarify some things regarding your Essential Rewards
autoship date. As you know, you have until 11:59 p.m., MT, of your
autoship date to make any changes to your order. By allowing you to make
changes until 11:59 p.m., we obviously cannot process your shipment on
that date. The actual date that your shipment is processed and shipped
is usually 48 business hours after your autoship date. In other words, your autoship date is really your autoship deadline.
Based on the abovementioned, here are two examples of when you might
receive your Essential Rewards order, depending on what day of the week
your autoship date/deadline falls:
Example 1
If your autoship date/deadline is the 20th, and the 20th falls on a
Monday, you have until 11:59 p.m., MT, on Monday to change your order.
Your order will be processed and shipped by Wednesday the 22nd, which is approximately 48 business hours after your autoship date.
Example 2
If your autoship date/deadline is the 20th, and the 20th falls on a
Friday, you have until 11:59 p.m., MT, on Friday to change your order.
Because our shipping department is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, your
order will be processed and shipped by Tuesday the 24th (approximately 48 business hours later).
The change to the deadline we were proposing for Essential Rewards
shipments was designed to enable us to ship your order on your autoship
date. However, we hope that by explaining the process, we have answered
the questions surrounding the shipment dates and have set proper
expectations without changing the deadline.
Second, we will, however, be moving forward with the 25 percent
restocking fee. It is time consuming and costly to restock items that
are returned. Rather than pass on those costs to everyone, we feel it is
fair to require those who return items to pay a small percentage of the
costs incurred to receive and restock those returned items.
Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Young Living family. We are
continually trying to improve the service we provide to you and to be
responsive to your concerns.
Best Regards,
The Young Living Team

A Prosperity Blessing By Veronica Hay
May you be blessed with an amazingly abundant day today!
May the clouds break, and the heavens pour down upon you,
more joy, more love, more laughter, and more money,
than you could have ever dreamed of.
May the sun shine its golden light of prosperity,
through every cell of your extraordinary body.
May you be cleansed today, of any resistance, or feelings
of unworthiness, that you may still be holding onto.
May your false illusions of doubt, fear and scarcity,
gently fall away, like soft white feathers on a summer’s breeze.
May you be willing, simply willing,
to allow the Universe to shower you with miracles today.
May the Angels wrap you in their shining wings of opulence.
May the fairies deliver you to their pot of gold, at the end of a majestic rainbow.
May your eyes shine with the glorious truth of who you really are, and
may that truth uplift others, in your presence, to their own inner knowing.
May your ears hear the sound of perfection, ringing in your soul.
May you taste the deliciousness of every precious bite of life,
as your day unfolds, moment by moment,
with amazing grace,
heartfelt love,
and a bounty of magnificent money.
As this day ends, may you slumber, wrapped in an
exquisite blanket of enduring peace and profound gratitude.
And may the last words you speak today be ... Thank you!

9 Useful tips for sending handwritten cards
Here are 9 useful tips (written by someone else) on how and why sending handwritten cards will help you connect with others:
1/ When we’re busy, and we all are - it’s easy to send a generic typed note on company letterhead or an email that has been pre-drafted. But how effective is it really? Millions of this type of communication is going around the world daily, achieving little in the way of impact. When you send a handwritten greeting card, you will be remembered.
2/ It’s important in business to stand out, make an impact and create a connection. Just think, when a client or prospect looks at their mail, the first thing they will do is sort between bills, letters, and junk mail. If they receive a brightly coloured envelope that has been hand written from YOU, it will either be opened first in excitement and anticipation or last, to be savoured, and enjoyed. You will be remembered.
3/ Even if you don't get what you were hoping for, send a thank you card anyway. Saying thank you is the best opportunity to send a had-written card.
5/ Carry blank greeting cards and stamps in your diary or briefcase. After leaving a client’s office, take a moment to write a short “thank you for your time” card and drop it in the mail on the way back to your office.
6/ Business is often done with people who take the time to acknowledge them. When you read the newspaper, or articles in email newsletters, send a card to congratulate people on their successes, whether you know them or not.
7/ Develop the habit of allocating a set time each week (or every day) to write your cards. These would include following up from networking functions attended, birthday cards, thank you cards etc. Ask any person who is number 1 in their profession, and they will tell you how important it is to create this habit.
8/ When writing cards, make them personal, it’s the little things that count. Include reference to a planned holiday, or something you discussed. And don’t worry about your hand writing, people will appreciate the effort you have gone to.
9/ “Thank you” are two very powerful words that are always appreciated. Remember the people within your network who have given you information, advice, assistance or some precious time. Sending them a card to say thank you, will certainly put a smile on their face and feel appreciated.
10/ Keep in touch with all your clients and friends, even if they don’t need you right now. Make sure they remember you! You never know when they will need you, who they know and when they will recommend you.

THE 4 BASICS OF A GREAT SALES MESSAGE
Salesmanship is the same now as it was back when the first Neanderthal traded up to a cave with a better view for a slab of mastodon meat. It’s an exchange of value. Your job is to show your prospects the value you offer. It’s salesmanship in print. It’s sending out a little, two-dimensional salesperson who connects with your prospects and convinces them that what you have is truly valuable.
A GREAT SALES MESSAGE IS A CONVERSATION WHERE YOU MAP OUT FOUR ELEMENTS:
1. Who You Are
Establish that you’re someone your customers can trust. Tell them who you are. They need more than your name, rank and serial number, so tell them your background. Position yourself in your prospects’ minds, and explain who you are in a way that is advantageous to them. Establish yourself as an authority.
2. What You’re Offering
Explain your product, service or information in a way that’s very basic. Spell out the features.
3. What It Will Do for Your Customer
Now that they know exactly what they are getting, show them what it will do for them. Walk them through the benefits. It’s not just a book; it’s a book that will change their lives by showing them the techniques and skills they need to make massive improvements. You’re helping them do something better, or achieve something they couldn’t achieve before, or gain entrance into a world that they otherwise wouldn’t have access to.
4. What They Need to Do Now
Walk your prospects to the next step, whether it’s to sign up for a free trial, join the membership site or buy the product. Hold their hand and show them what to do; otherwise, you might lose them.
